Mika's First Modeling Gig...

My friend Autie makes these adorable headbands for babies! Super cute and fun! I was flattered when she asked if Mika could be her little model so we set up a little photoshoot... I think she rocked the headbands... Watch out daddy!

I had to post the rest of my sisters sleepy little baby Vann's portraits from our session...

The funny thing is that I have never really considered myself a baby photographer. You would never guess that from my blog recently.. (= I love being able to interact with little kids and people and create reactions that look great on camera. Babies are unpredictable and take alot more patience... (= but it's been so much fun shooting all these babies! It seems like everyone lately is popping out these cute little guys, including myself! (= It'll be fun to see them all grow up throughout the years and be able to look back at how sweet and tiny they were at one time... If only my sweet little girl Mika would have been such a sleepy baby like Vann instead of a colicky one... we would have gotten alot more portraits! (=

So my blog may be filled with pics of my sweet daughters Maddy and Mika for awhile since I am taking a short maternity leave to focus on my family for a couple months. I still need my photography fix and whether they like it or not, my little girls get to be my models! We haven't ventured too much outdoors since Mika is still small, so I set up studio on my bed, couch, or wherever the natural light hits and take pics whenever I get the urge and my little girls will let me!

Here is my baby girl Mika modeling her cute little hair flower and outfit given to her by my good friend Katie of Mia Moo Designs... Check out her blog to purchase cute hair accessories, dresses and more... This little girl laughs in her sleep! We will hear these funny little giggles and look down at her and she is actually laughing! (Probably thinking of all the funny things she can do to make sure mommy doesn't sleep at night (= )! She smiles a ton too...

Look what the stork dropped off...

My friend Ashlee and I collaborated and pulled out the infamous tree branch structure to get this pic of Mika. After over 3 hours of trying to get her to sleep, we finally got the pics we were looking for! I'm so thankful for Ashlee for not letting me give up! Where I've been...

We are so blessed to welcome our newest addition Baby Mika Susan Nguyen, born March 10th, 7 lbs 8 oz and 19 inches long. She is the sweetest baby ever! We love her to death and never want to put her down...

And at 4 days old she is already smiling for the camera!

Baby Gia 6 months old!

This little girl is so loved by her family. She is such a beautiful little girl, it was such a pleasure to work with her and her sweet family. Her mom Laura is a very talented graphic designer and designs for and owns Harrison Greetings. She has 2 beautiful little girls now... Happy 6 months baby Gia!
